Who is Alyssa Renee?
Alyssa is an Atlanta-based artist with Midwestern roots and a lifelong passion for performance. Her journey began when she landed the lead in ANNIE as a young girl—and she hasn’t left the stage since.
She quickly found herself opening for Grammy-winner Tanya Tucker at the Little Nashville Opry, setting the tone for a career full of dynamic opportunities.
A proud graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in Vocal Performance, Alyssa has lit up stages from Carnegie Hall to Chastain Amphitheater. She’s performed everything from opera to rock, and shared the spotlight with talents like Grammy-winner Emily Saliers (Indigo Girls) and the nationally touring Yacht Rock Revue.
On screen, Alyssa has recently starred as Barbara Lewis Porter in Lifetime’s The Lies We Bury alongside Dee Wallace (ET) and Lindsay Hartley (Days of Our Lives), Nora in The Beach Read Murders, and Selma in The CW’s A Waltons Thanksgiving alongside Bellamy Young (Scandal) and Logan Shroyer (This Is Us).
Beyond the spotlight, Alyssa is a certified Pilates specialist in women’s health and a singer songwriter who plays piano, ukulele, and guitar. She’s also a travel enthusiast, hiking fan, and firm believer that life’s better with ice cream.
